Now, I wish very badly I could tell you there will be no delays in the reconstruction process, but that just wouldn’t be the truth! When building a structure back up from scratch, we will need to contract with countless outside vendors, which is all part of our ‘general contracting’ process. These vendors, or sub-contractors, will experience material delays, employee and internal processing delays, errors (yes, sometimes even the best make errors!), and just the every-day unforeseen-able delays that tend to occur during EVERY construction process there EVER has been! I mean, WE won’t ever cause a delay… well, ok, I suspect sometime in the future, we might be the cause of a ‘delay’ here and there. BUT, we will try our hardest to never ever be the cause of delaying your project!
However, during delays, immediate communication is the one thing that we CAN guarantee you. Countless times, a customer is made aware of a delay days or weeks after it was made aware to the general contractor, causing confusion and frustration to the customer. Getting updated information the second it is confirmed, is something we can do and WILL do for you! Knowing about delays in real-time, as they are communicated to us from a vendor, allows you to plan for them and make adjustments sooner rather than later. We will continually work with you on the schedule and make sure it is as accurate as possible every day!
